While some people are greatly helped by Hypnotherapy, others vehemently dislike it. Some who are Christians think that it has no place in our faith. Others fee it is of "the enemy."

We at Agape make very certain that all techniques used are firmly grounded on God's word. Even when a technique is known to bring relief for discomforting symptoms, Agape therapists will refrain from utilizing the technique when it contradicts Christian principles.

At Agape we believe that God was the first Hypnotherapist. In fact the Creator performed the first surgery recorded in the history of mankind through the art of hypnosis! "The Lord, God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he was sleeping, He took one of man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh." (Gen. 2:21)

In our Hypnotherapy session we use scripture, 'prayer phrases' and Biblically based positive, self enhancing and healing phrases. Therefore at Agape we do not offer Hypnosis! Rather we offer Christian Hypnosis!
